I’m Anthony Monceaux, the founder of Rougaroux Firearms. I was born in Lake Charles and have called Baton Rouge home since 1996. The name “Rougaroux” stems from Cajun folklore and my beloved pet, Ruger Roux. I handle all interactions directly, ensuring personalized service for every customer. My mission is to create a welcoming, 2nd Amendment-friendly space where firearm enthusiasts can find quality products and creative customizations.

Rougaroux Firearms began with a personal fascination for firearms, inspired by regular shooting sessions with my “range bros” in Lake Charles, LA. With a graphic design background, I was drawn to the art of laser engraving after seeing YouTube videos showcasing customized firearms. What started as a hobby evolved into a full-fledged business. After months of practice, securing an FFL 07 license, and navigating regulations, Rougaroux Firearms came to life.
