Liberty Gun Trader is an American online marketplace where individual owners and licensed FFL dealers buy and sell firearms, ammunition, parts, accessories and services. Our goal is simple: make it easy to find the gun you want from a seller you can trust, and make every step from listing to transfer clear and lawful.
How the marketplace works
- Two account types. Individual sellers can keep up to three active listings. Verified FFL dealers get unlimited listings during our launch period and a public storefront.
- Fixed price, offers and auctions. Sellers choose a fixed price, accept offers, or run an auction with automatic proxy bidding, optional reserve prices, Buy Now and anti-sniping protection. Learn how our auctions work.
- Every firearm goes through an FFL. Firearms ship to — or are picked up from — a licensed dealer who runs the required background check. Read our FFL transfer guide.
- Safer payments. Depending on the seller, buyers can pay through GunTab escrow, which holds funds until the firearm reaches the buyer’s dealer, or by card through the seller’s own Authorize.net account. How escrow protects you.
